Completely new to blogging I feel like a little child on the first day of school, excited, nervous, anxious and incredibly vulnerable to the new world.

I have started this blog as sort of a self help/therapy tool for myself as I work towards my own enlightened path.  Maybe I can connect with people or maybe no one will ever read this, I don't really care either way as I am doing this for myself and not for others.

I recently got a new tattoo as a marker of this journey within myself.  I designed a steampunk inspired pheonix and sat through the grueling five and a half hours of spine tingling, happy torture to have it permanately imbedded in my skin. A set in stone(skin) reminder of my promise to rise from the ashes and become the person I want to be.  Not to say, I won't self destruct again, but I will always rise magestically from the ashes.
